Description:
During the concert, the transverse flute players of the Mītels ensemble –
Kristīne Stumbure and Maija Kļaviņa – will take the listener on a
musical journey to the 18th-century salon, a place in Europe where the
most outstanding minds, musicians, artists, thinkers, and politicians of
the time met. The story will focus on the outstanding intellectuals,
musicians, artists, thinkers, and politicians. The story will focus on
an outstanding personality – Sarah Levi (1761–1854), whose salon became a
gathering place for Berlin’s most prominent musicians and scientists
for many years.
